About the Foundation for

Packaging Education

The Board of Directors of AICC, The Independent Packaging Association has created a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) education endowment fund for the purposes of supporting the development and dissemination of employee education and training resources for the workforce in the corrugated, folding carton, rigid box, and related supply chain industries.

The Foundation for Packaging Education will help create a stronger workforce in corrugated, folding carton, and rigid box manufacturing plants by providing more educational opportunities throughout the industry.

Paper and board converters have a major thing in common – people.  And with people, the need to hire and retain workers at all levels in their organizations, particularly in the manufacturing environment. A well-trained workforce is more productive and more likely to stay engaged in their job.

Studies have shown that manufacturing companies that can demonstrate investment in industry-related employee education are more likely to fill open positions and retain team members than those that cannot.

AICC , The Independent Packaging Association, the founder of the Foundation is a 501 (c)(6), is the largest organization of corporate members in corrugated and paperboard. AICC provides members with the training and networking independent paper and board companies need to thrive. Learn more about our founding Association at www.AICCbox.org.
